After more than 30 years in the automotive industry, a successful business exit, and a year marked by major personal challenges and life-changing moments, Brian Urlage found himself searching for a new road forward.
He found it through overlanding.
Lone Oak Overland brings together Brian’s lifelong automotive knowledge, his experience solving problems under pressure, and a growing desire to experience life differently. Along with his wife, Jessica, Brian is spending more time outdoors, camping beneath the stars, exploring backroads and trails, and discovering places that are often overlooked.
For Brian and Jessica, overlanding is not about having the perfect vehicle or the most expensive equipment. It is about getting outside, enjoying nature, meeting good people, and finding the roads less traveled and the sights less seen.
Lone Oak Overland is their way of sharing that journey, including the destinations, vehicles, gear, challenges, people, and memorable moments they encounter along the way.
